About the opportunity Our clients stand alone venue operates 7 days a week for both lunch and dinner service.
The business does not over complicate it's menus, in fact, the menu is quite predictable as they appeal to a wider crowd. They are a casual operation, yet hold high standards in food and service.
This is an incredibly hands on role, working side by side with a Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to continuously develop service standards, soft skills, bring them up to the level to achieve KPI's and P&L excellence.
As the General Manager you will need to identify areas of opportunity and create action plans that are centred around positive change - our client is looking for a manager capable of maximising revenue streams, developing talent pools for future leaders, and driving operational excellence.
The ideal candidate - 2+ years experience as a Venue Manager, General Manager or Operations Manager is essential, preferably someone who has worked in large venues, pubs or cafes
- You are a true front of house leader who drives standards, supports teams, and wins over customers
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to deliver outcomes to ownership
- Equally motivated to be involved in business decision making as they are running service
- Open availability Monday to Sunday - there will be opportunity for a fixed roster
