About the opportunity This neighbourhood venue achieved iconic status a long time ago and has a rich history within the Melbourne food and beverage scene.
The business does not over complicate it's menus, in fact, the menu is quite predictable, but what sets them apart is their consistency and execution in delivering honest food to an incredible level.
Wine lists curated using local and international wines. The kitchen sources some of the best produce from our wider region. The service is casual and attentive, but not intrusive.
This is very much a front of house role, with the majority of your time leading service -
if you're looking for a role that will require you to take on the business and commercial aspects of running a venue then this might not be for you.You can expect to coach and inspire a team of 7+ front of house staff on shift across all facets of the business.
The ideal candidate - The desirable candidate will have experience in both premium dining and pubs
- At least 1 years experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager is essential
- You are a true front of house leader who drives standards, supports teams, and wins over customers
- WSET accreditation is desirable, but not essential
- Open availability Monday to Sunday
