As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation and service, staff management, and financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, food preparation, customer service, and cleanliness standards
• Ensure the restaurant meets and exceeds all health and safety regulations
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members
• Motivate and inspire the team to deliver excellent customer service and a positive dining experience for every guest
• Manage inventory, order supplies and equipment, and maintain cost controls to ensure profitability
• Monitor and analyse financial performance metrics, including sales, labour costs, and food costs, to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning and development
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers and respond to any complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner

Skills & experience you will be able to bring to this role: 

• Experience in a senior leadership role within a New Zealand based QSR or casual dining environment is preferred with the ability to lead an overall team of 25x people
• Excellent communication skills 
• Sound understanding of cost management and P&L
• The initiative to solve problems 
• Inspiring leadership style that builds capability
