About the opportunity

One of our most loyal clients has had a long standing leader stepped away from the industry, creating an opportunity for a industry leader to join a high performing, 50 seater restaurant just 10 minutes from Melbourne CBD.

Senior management here takes an approach of 'What is important to you matters to us' so they have raised the bar to provide flexible rosters that fit most lifestyle and tick the work life balance boxes that most Hospitality workers struggle to get.

As an Assistant Manager you will lead service, coach and develop staff on shift, manage team KPI's, oversee food safety, and support senior management as they continue to run a high performing operation.
Expect to lead a team of 4 to 8 on shift, whilst getting the coaching you need to grow and develop into a senior leader.


Ideal Candidate

• Previous hospitality leadership experience is essential, preferably within cafes, QSR, or chained restaurants
• Ability to effectively coach teams in a high process driven environment
• Solutions focused leader who collaborates with management to fix the bigger picture problem
• A leader who is confident and skilled in KPI management is desirable
• Open availability to work a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday - our client has a roster system that provides every 2nd weekend off
