About the Opportunity

Our client operates a well-established venue in Mooloolaba and is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead their culinary team. Located in a lively and picturesque area, this bistro serves a modern lunch & dinner menu. The stunning function space is a key earner for the business. The ambience is casual yet lively, with a strong focus on community. This role offers a unique chance to play a key part in our client's continued success.

What we are looking for:

• Enthusiastic and personable with a track record of strong leadership
• Confident with casual modern Australian cuisine with a coastal twist. You will be working with a menu of classics done well and responsible for seasonal menu updates.
• Functions and catering experience is a must 
• Accountability in controlling food and labour costs.
• Build and lead your team with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
