About the Role

As the Function & Events Operations Manager, you’ll lead a team of F&B experts, making sure every event at our client’s luxury hotel runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression. Your warm, professional vibe and top-notch communication skills will make guests feel right at home, ensuring they’re comfortable and happy from start to finish. You’ll need to be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks while delivering exceptional service.

What You'll Be Doing

You will be a key player on the F&B leadership team, reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager. Your day-to-day will include:

• Training and developing your events team making sure they’re well-equipped to deliver first-class service.
• Executing event orders and organising your team rosters and run sheets.
• Pulling together all the planning to create show-stopping events that reflect the hotel’s premium standards.
• Building solid relationships with clients, event planners and vendors to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure everything flows smoothly for both events and guest experiences.
• Always looking for fresh ideas to elevate the events operation while staying in the loop with industry trends.
• Regularly coaching and giving feedback to your team, celebrating wins and recognising their hard work.

We are looking for a functions & events specialist with experience leading teams of up to 20 in premium events or hotel spaces.
