About the opportunity
  
Our client is opening a medium sized restaurant later this year, and they're looking for a proven hospitality leader to help bring their project to life.

The venue is set to cater to the masses during the peak seasons as it's located in a popular region known for wineries and outdoor activities. 

As the Restaurant Manager, you're required to lead service, recruit front of house staff, identify future leaders through individual development plans, and handle standard P&L management and administration tasks that come with managing most venues.

Central Victoria has so much to offer, and our client will go the distance to provide a balanced roster that will allow you to reap the rewards of living in a area most escape to on their holidays.

The candidate

• A minimum of 1 years experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager,
• Experience in a full service restaurant, cafe or venue is essential
• People focused; to be a hit in this role you will need to have strong people management skills
• A leader who knows how to achieve results from a brand/owner perspective and can get teams to buy in to the common goal
• Motivator; during the highs and lows you will be a natural at motivating
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - from dealing with customers face to face to coaching teams of 15 or more, we need a leader who shines in this area
