About the opportunityThis food retail business is at the heart of a popular beachside suburb on the Mornington Peninsula, open 7 days a week and serving some of the best produce the region has to offer.
Our client is looking for an experienced leader with strong organisational & people management skills, and the ability to read the room to suggest/action positive change that benefit produce and visual merchandising, customer service, and team performance.
The Owners are very connected with their business so you can expect to work shoulder to shoulder with them most days of the week.
You will manage a team of 5 on shift whilst undertaking key tasks in stock rotation, store presentation & visual merchandising, stakeholder management, and POS management
We're keen to connect with all Retail & Hospitality Managers who have experience in either food retail, cafes, restaurants or hospitality venues
The candidate - A minimum of 2 years experience as a Assistant Manager in hospitality or retail
- A leader who understands food, local produce, and how to
work with small businesses - Ability to achieve success from a ownership perspective - from store standards to understanding their processes and systems
- A humble and proactive leader who is able to demonstrate a strong work ethic by working side by side with your team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Benefits - Says only roster - requires open availability Monday to Sunday
