About the opportunity

Nestled within our client's well known luxury hotel in inner Brisbane, this chic, high-energy restaurant blends modern design with culinary innovation, drawing in a vibrant mix of locals and travelers. As a seasoned leader, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of this well known venue where the atmosphere is as captivating as the cuisine.

Key Responsibilities 

You will be a key member of the leadership team reporting to the F&B Manager and responsibilities include: 

• Oversee daily restaurant operations across 7 days breakfast, lunch & dinner
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, wine list and other offerings
• Lead and develop and team of dedicated floor staff, driving service excellence at all times
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring timely and efficient service to all guests
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements
• Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay up to date with the latest developments in the food and beverage industry
• Work with the F&B Manager to develop and implement new menus or promotions, and to continuously improve the overall dining experience for guests.
• Manage inventory, purchasing and vendor relationships
• Responsible for financial performance including budgeting and cost control.
