The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Sous Chef to join a distinguished kitchen team, working closely with the Head Chef to drive culinary excellence. The role is hands-on, offering the chance to shape the menu, lead kitchen operations, and deliver an unforgettable dining experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to refine menus with consistency and creativity.
- Source and maintain strong relationships with premium suppliers.
- Drive financial and operational goals through cost control and budgeting.
- Uphold kitchen standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team for high performance.
- Take a hands-on approach to daily operations for efficiency and excellence.
- Develop a new function offering to align with the venue’s renovations.

Skills & Experience - Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a high-end or boutique hotel environment.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency across all kitchen sections.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, with a completed cookery apprenticeship.
- Food Safety Supervisor certification, with a commitment to maintaining the highest food safety standards.
