About the opportunity

Set in a renowned luxury hotel in inner Brisbane, our client's stylish & buzzing restaurant brings together sleek design and creative dishes, attracting a lively crowd of locals and travelers. As an experienced leader, you’ll have the chance to make your mark on a refreshed venue backed by a highly experienced and strong kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities 

You will be a key member of the leadership team reporting to the F&B Manager and responsibilities include: 

• Oversee daily restaurant operations across 7 days lunch & dinner
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, wine list and other offerings
• Lead and develop and team of dedicated floor staff, driving service excellence
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements
• Lead regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay up to date with the latest industry developments
• Work with the F&B Manager to develop and implement new menus or promotions, and to continuously improve the overall dining experience for guests.
• Manage inventory, purchasing and vendor relationships
• Responsible for financial performance including budgeting, rostering and cost control.
