My client, a highly respected name in the hospitality industry, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to take the reins of their dynamic kitchen team and elevate their exceptional dining experience.
  
The Role
  
As Head Chef, you will lead a talented kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations while upholding the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager to drive kitchen performance, foster a positive team culture, and deliver profitability through exceptional culinary service.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee kitchen opening, closing, and service procedures to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage a skilled, motivated kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and harmonious work environment.
  • Cost Management: Control kitchen costs, including food, labour, and stock levels, ensuring profitability targets are met.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and occupational health and safety.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Address feedback from customers, suppliers, and staff promptly and constructively.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with a focus on creating a positive and productive kitchen culture.
  • Advanced communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Expertise in cost control, stock management, and labour efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
