The Opportunity

Our client is a successful hotel group with a strong client base of corporate and leisure travel. The hotel is geared towards exciting the senses of its guests, whether they are staying in one of the luxurious rooms or just visiting one of their multiple F&B outlets. The brand is synonymous with high quality service and products.

As the Sous Chef you will work closely with the Executive Chef in managing the Events department and ensuring the flow of service is efficient and smooth. You will have the opportunity to create and have input on new menu creations as well as mentoring and training the back of house team.

About You:

• 3+ years experience in a high end event kitchen and or hotel dining
• Creativity and passion for cooking with the best produce in Australia
• A people leader able to maintain a positive team culture, nurture and develop your kitchen brigade
• Understanding of rostering, ordering, stock control
