Seeking a dedicated Venue Manager to lead a high-end gastropub in Canberra, offering a dynamic atmosphere and reimagined Australian classics.

The company:

This modern Canberra venue, part of a larger group known for luxury accomodation, combines high-end gastropub charm with a lively atmosphere, offering reimagined dishes, entertainment and growth opportunities.

The role:

Lead a close-knit team to create a welcoming atmosphere while overseeing daily operations and ensuring a seamless guest experience. Manage venue operations, maintain budget compliance and uphold service standards. Delegate tasks, collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to meet financial goals and ensuring health regulations are followed. Conduct staff training, maintain high service excellence.

Seeking Candidates with:

  • Proven management experience with strong training skills.
  • Financial expertise in cost management and forecasting.
  • Excellent time management and strong leadership abilities.
  • A passion for food and beverage, along with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent grooming & presentation standards
