About the opportunity 

Our clients venue is the sort of place you head to If you’re looking to relax in the beer garden with friends, enjoy a classic pub lunch or dinner, or head to a local's venue to watch a sporting event.

We are working with an ownership that is in need of a ready made hospitality leader, ready to run a medium sized venue with a particular focus on food, beverage, and function operations.
This is not a pokies venue, however, there are TAB facilities so the ideal candidate must feel comfortable working in this sort of environment.

This is a hands on, front and centre Venue Manager position that will require the selected candidate to pivot from pouring pints and serving locals, to P&L management and stakeholder management.

You will report directly in to a Business Owner who will provide you with all the tools and support to effectively manage a business unit,


The ideal candidate

• A minimum of 1 years Assistant Venue Manager or Venue Manager experience is essential
• Strong interpersonal skills - whether it's chatting with locals or managing teams we're in need of a leader who excels in this area
• A leader who is all things customer service - we want to connect with someone who can tell a story through their service, and not afraid to push boundaries to deliver the best level possible
• A leader experienced in managing teams of 20+ is an advantage, but not essential
